Shell Lubricants Egypt has entered into a partnership with TAQA Petroleum to expand the availability of its lubricants, coolants and transmission fluids across TAQA Petroleum’s network of service stations in Egypt.
The agreement is expected to make Shell’s automotive products more accessible to motorists, giving customers the opportunity to purchase products designed for different vehicle types directly through TAQA Petroleum’s growing retail network.
The partnership covers a broad range of Shell products, including Shell Helix engine oils for passenger cars, Shell Advance lubricants for motorcycles and Shell Rimula products designed for heavy-duty vehicles.
It will also include Shell Spirax transmission fluids and Shell coolants, providing customers with a wider selection of vehicle maintenance products.
Partnership targets different vehicle users
According to Shell Lubricants Egypt, the collaboration is aimed at meeting the needs of a wide range of motorists, from private vehicle owners and motorcyclists to businesses operating commercial and heavy-duty vehicles.
Haitham Yehia, Chairman and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt, said the agreement would bring Shell’s products closer to consumers by making its full product portfolio available through TAQA Petroleum’s network.
Yehia said the partnership would make it more convenient for motorists across Egypt to find products suited to their individual vehicle and operating requirements.
The agreement therefore represents more than an expansion of Shell’s distribution channels. It also strengthens the company’s direct presence within Egypt’s retail fuel and automotive services market. For TAQA Petroleum, the partnership provides an opportunity to complement its existing fuel and retail services with a wider range of vehicle maintenance products.
Mohamed Nafea, Managing Director of TAQA Petroleum, said the company was pleased to collaborate with Shell Lubricants Egypt and provide customers with a comprehensive selection of Shell products.
The offering will include engine oils, coolants and transmission fluids, allowing motorists to access several essential vehicle-care products through TAQA Petroleum’s service stations.
The move could also increase convenience for customers who prefer to obtain fuel, lubricants and other automotive products from the same retail network.
