Africa’s richest industrialist, Aliko Dangote, is set to present a major industrial roadmap as the Dangote Group participates in the 2026 Nasarawa Trade Fair and Exhibition (NASTFE). The event, scheduled to begin on April 20 in Lafia, will be officially inaugurated by Abdullahi Sule.
At the centre of Dangote’s participation is the unveiling of its Vision 2030 blueprint by Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company.
The plan is designed to accelerate innovation and strengthen Africa’s industrialisation drive, aligning with the fair’s theme of deepening value chains and promoting inclusive economic growth in Nasarawa State.
Showcasing Diverse Business Portfolio
The Group will showcase a wide range of products from its strategic business units, including Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote Salt, Dangote Fertiliser, Dangote SinoTruck, and Dangote Packaging. According to company spokesman Anthony Chiejina, the exhibition will highlight the Group’s expansive industrial footprint.
Senior Adviser to the Group President, Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman, emphasised that Nasarawa State plays a critical role in Dangote’s African investment strategy. She noted that the state hosts the Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited project, which is expected to become one of the largest sugar investments on the continent upon completion.
Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists in Nasarawa State, Nidan Sambo Manasseh, described the trade fair as more than an exhibition. He said it serves as a practical platform for fostering business opportunities, industrial expansion, and human capital development, while aligning closely with Dangote Group’s long-term vision.
