ExxonMobil Qatar has renewed its strategic partnership with Teach For Qatar for another three years, strengthening efforts to improve education quality and teacher development across Qatar.
The collaboration, which began in 2014, continues under the support of the Qatar Foundation leadership, reinforcing national efforts to build a knowledge-based economy.
Over the past decade, the partnership has supported the training and development of more than 474 teaching fellows, helping to place skilled educators in public schools across the country.
These fellows have collectively impacted over 62,000 students, improving learning outcomes while helping build a pipeline of future education leaders within Qatar’s school system.
Supporting Qatar National Vision 2030
Officials from both organisations said the renewed partnership directly supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly in the areas of human development and education reform.
Taher Hamid, President and General Manager of ExxonMobil Qatar, described education as a cornerstone of sustainable development, adding that the partnership reflects long-term investment in Qatar’s future workforce.
Teach For Qatar CEO Nasser al-Jaber also noted that ExxonMobil’s support has been critical in recruiting and placing passionate teachers in classrooms to inspire students.
The renewed collaboration aligns with Qatar’s broader push to diversify its economy away from hydrocarbons and toward innovation, education, and human capital development.
By investing in teachers and digital learning tools, both organisations aim to strengthen the education system and prepare students for future careers in science, technology, and other emerging fields.
