Power Sector Crisis Soon to be Resolved, Says Minister

Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, called on Nigerians yesterday to be patient with the Bola Tinubu administration, giving assurances that the ongoing power sector crisis will soon be resolved.

Speaking during the Independent Day celebration at the Presidential Villa, Adelabu conveyed the administration’s empathy. “We can feel the people’s pain,” he expressed, emphasizing the administration’s determination to positively impact the lives of the citizens.

“The president is diligently working, urging all cabinet members to ensure growth and development in their sectors,” Adelabu stated. He called for understanding, adding, “Nigerians have been patient for too long, and this administration aims to rectify the past lack of impactful governance.”

Further, Adelabu emphasized the Ministry of Power’s dedication to improving the power situation. He recognized the years of subpar electricity services and pledged to rectify the sector’s challenges. He emphasized the need for energy to harness the nation’s abundant human and natural resources.
